Hell is where you find it

America's Rich Plays King Of The Hill''

While America's Oligarchs, Billionaires and Millionaires play atop the vestiges of what once was, they are on a constant look-out for more opportunities to fleece their countrymen.

These money-grubbin' Republicans are terminally ill with a disease not yet named that eventually drives them crazy as a loon. They can be seen scampering over huge piles of the bones of their wretched and tormented departed brethern as they search for something of value that they may have overlooked.

The richest of America are slowly finding little to glean from the citizenry who gave up the ghost and passed away. The nation's semi-rich has found little to mine from the secondary level of affluency and may actually need to make their daughters happy with only three dolls and a measley five or six pencils for their sons this Christmas.

Things are collapsing in what once was the richest nation in the world. The mega-oligarchs are still around, but they are holding their bank books closer to their chests and buying fewer politicians these days.

Even the "Deal Maker" has pulled in his horns and is tip-toeing more gingerly through the fields of what once was the masses of "easy pickin's."  The only thing that's holding the last vestiges of poverty together are the "federal hand-outs" and the "soup kitchens!"

If only the oligarchs, billionaires, and millionaires would have paid their fair share of taxes and learned to share! If only they were born with a modicum of empathy!

If only they didn't spend all of that money on Republican politicians who frittered it away on a third summer home, yatchs, sixty-foot-long motor homes, and political bribes!

Oh, well, maybe another fad like MAGA will come along and help the well-heeled get another foot hold. . .  around our necks.
