On May 6, 1937, at Lakehurst Naval Station in New Jersey, the Hindenburg airship, a passenger Zeppelin was coming in for docking and it exploded in a firey destruction, causing 36 deaths.
The exact cause of the explosion remains a mystery that ended transatlantic commercial airship travel.
On May 6, 2025, exactly 88 years to the date, a man named Donald J. Trump was embroiled in a disaster of his own and he too was headed for an explosion. He had just recently surpassed his first 100 days of his second term as President of the United States of America. It has been one critical mistake after another and it was building up to an explosion of immense proportions.
He was messing in the field of Tariffs on a global basis and he was in way over his head. He might as well have put on some physician's scrubs and began operating on Vice-President JD Vance's brain. It would have gone just as poorly.
The self-appointed world's greatest deal maker was swiming without a life vest and sharks were smelling blood in the water! Highly upset Democrats and Republicans alike, were losing confidence in him. He began inching backward while telling anyone who would listen that he has the plan that will make everything better. That was not one bit likely.
He understands the explosion is coming. His "hot air" balloon is about to burst. He has over-sold himself a little too much, this time, and he had purposefully put idiots in his Cabinet who know nothing about his problem or how to help him get out of it.
What will be the final "spark" that will blow everything to smithereens? How bad will it be? What king of nation will we have after the blast?
As his Trumpenberg floats toward the mooring tower, he thinks of how close he was to showing us he really was the master of the "art of the deal!"
Only he wasn't. He wasn't even close.
And that hydrogen was mightier than his "hot air" - and it was catastrophic!
Democracy will serve us until the next fool tries their faulty hot air ballon to float their authoritarian ideas!
