Oligarchs Drive From the Back Seat
We can watch them argue and lie to each other until one of them wins and then it's back to politics as usual. The public is lied to and their lives become a little more difficult. The politician counts his bribe money and carries on. And the big winners are always the same: Billionaires and millionaires!
If our congressional body wrote bills on their own or voted on bills without the "demands from their Party chiefs or lobbyists," the Big Money guys would have to find another way to spend their money.
Money is not just the root of all evil - it is pure, unadulterated evil, itself! Those billionaire oligarchs find pure delight in playing "the game" with our politicians, plus they always get a tidy some of monetary benefits in the process.
You may not always see them, but they are "figuratively" sitting right behind our lawmakers every day. . . looking for a way to make a fast buck. They are usually joined by lobyists and even other politicians - all looking for money!
Our law-making process can make money faster than a printing press, and you can always bet that We the People will have to pay someone, someday for it all.
If we could take money out of the equation, we could run this government on a pittance of what we do now!
Don't those billionaires ever get full?
