The Call is Out for More "Good Troublemakers!"

               Good Trouble

John Robert Lewis (Feb. 21, 1940 - July 17, 2020) was an American civil rights activist and politician who served in the United States House of Representatives for Georgia's 5th congressional district from 1987 until his death in 2020.

America lost the best-of-the-best at the worst-of-worst times. His death in 2020 was at a time said to be like no other. A global pandemic, bitter political divisions and racial unrest that exploded into violence as citizens took to the streets to protest the Trump administration's handling of it all.

Rep. John Lewis (D-Georgia) rose to the call for a united need to calm the people and fight for the wrong that our government was doing.  He said we needed to "make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble."

As of the day Donald Trump took his office of office, seventy- five days have elapsed.

Seventy-Five days of near total political and economic bedlam  is still rocking the nation under the supposed control of the president. Due to his wild rage of global tariffs, he has made enemies of our closest allies and allies of our feared adversaries.

We are in dire need of some "Good Trouble" and someone like Mr. Lewis to lead us. Many have learned from his answer to the problem, however, and were out in force and out in the streets!

Hundreds of thousands remembered John Lewis this past weekend and gave the Trump Administration a load of "Good Trouble" they may not be able to ignore.

But America needs more - a lot more- "Good Troublemakers!" We can't lose our democracy!
